Many students in under-served school districts don't think of college as a possibility for them. Often, they don't know anyone who has gone to college. They lack the resources to get information others may take for granted. Over time, the dreams and vision they had for their future feels less and less achievable.
We aim to disrupt that cycle through information and personal connection.
We're creating a place where students can share their interests and achievements - both in the classroom and outside of it. Then, we use that information to help them discover their options. (And we're making it free to make sure every student everywhere gets that opportunity.)
We're creating a global community from which colleges can seek out and engage with students who may be a good fit for their programs. Imagine what a difference advice and encouragment from a college advisor could make to a child who has never known anyone who has ever gone to college.
CollegeEase was created to enlighten, empower, and encourage kids toward higher education.
"I was one of the students we designed CollegeEase to help - a disadvantaged student in a sub-par school, no real parental influence, and greatly uninformed of my options as they related to college."
